Full House refurbishment
Samuel Sheldon Ltd has recently started another big project of a complete house refurbishment of a Victorian three-storey terraced house in Coniston, Cumbria. This building project has only just started, and there is a lot of work to be completed. The team at Samuel Sheldon Ltd has already begun to work on the roofing services required, including the old roof being removed and new felt and battens being installed and a Velux roof light. Inside the house will require damp proofing and tanking throughout the ground floor, damp proofing and tanking throughout the ground floor, and complete plastering throughout the property.
Thermal upgrades will be made to the roof and the external walls; this is to improve the property’s thermal efficiency. Also, a full electrical rewire inside the property will be carried out to meet modern standards. Outside of the property will have new fascia, gutters, and downpipes. The outdoor living room window has original brickwork art that Samuel Sheldon Ltd will restore to keep the fantastic features. The building work doesn’t stop there, though; this is a complete house refurbishment.
A new bathroom will be installed alongside an on-suite shower room for one of the main bedrooms. New PVC windows and doors will be fitted throughout the property, and the rendering on the rear of the property is to be completed as well.
