Also increasingly popular these days is the sun lounge. Something of a hybrid between an extension and a conservatory, sun lounges provide that same light and airy ambience you expect of a conservatory but with the solid feel and the warmth of a traditional extension. They are generally constructed using PVC windows all round above window cill height but roofed with a traditional roof. Often owners like to increase the natural light even further by using roof lights or patent glass roofing which gives a real panoramic feel to the room.
