Description

Construct a new extension to a primary school using pile foundations; brick built building, flat felt roof, external access ramp and internal remodelling.
The foundations used steel pile foundations and a concrete ring beam.

The original school building was almost completely constructed of cement based facing bricks which has weathered considerably over the 30-40 years that the school has been in existence. Finding a brick to match the existing weathered bricks in both appearance and texture was challenging but we managed to source a suitable brick which our expert bricklayers laid beautifully using time honoured techniques.
