Christmas is right around the corner! Over the week, we have placed a high priority on getting open jobs finished up to our quality standards. We have been fitting solid aluminium doors at St Bernards School in Barrow, ensuring they are adequately sealed against air draughts and water leaks. Our team members were working in The Green, fitting fascias and soffits in a local customer’s roof for airflow and a more robust structure.
Although the weather gets cold and the area gets dangerously icy, our time has been spent working indoors with the old Millom bank building. The team have been plaster-boarding the walls as a staging ground for future work on the building in the new year. The goal for this space is to build two commercial locations and six flats on the upper floor. We hope this will bring in some much-needed business and residential options for the town.
To the readers who are unaware, Samuel Sheldon’s offices closed on Wednesday, the 21st of December. We will reopen on Tuesday, the 3rd of January. As the office is unmanned, there may be delays in responses to your enquiries. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
All of us, both contractors and office staff, would like to thank all our customers for their support over the year. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with customers and architects alike on their individual projects, and we hope to start the new year with a bang.
